Julia here, writing from foggy, Vermontish Asheville, North Carolina. We played a great house show here last night, thanks to our good friend Tara for setting it all up!
We’ve been driving down from the north, shedding layers of clothing and emptying five gallon jugs of veggie oil into our gas tank as we go. The smell of a fish fry gets stronger when we open the sunroof.
Tonight we’re playing at Railroad Earth in Atlanta; it’ll be our third show together with Grandchildren, from Philly, and Lonnie Walker, from Raleigh, two awesome bands that we’re lucky to be touring with and seeing play for the next few nights. After two nights in Atlanta we’ll be headed to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a little relaxation, and then opening up the Valley of the Vapors festival, where we’re the very first band.
More to come, soon! Thanks to everyone who has come out to see us!
